If you have decided to attend ASU, please Reply to your Offer of Admission through the MyMountaineer portal.**
Please note: ACCESS encourages you to pay the $200 deposit. If you are unable to pay this deposit at the moment, please contact Rebecca Murray in Admisions for assistance - preferably by email.
*If you are not planning to attend ASU, please notify the Office of Admissions at (828) 262-2120.
If you have been chosen for Financial Aid Verification...
Verification is the process by which the information you submitted on the FAFSA is checked for accuracy. About a third of students offered the ACCESS scholarship must complete verification. For more information as well as instructions on how to locate the required documents, go to your MyMountaineer portal.

Check your email weekly throughout the summer for important updates regarding ACCESS, orientation, and other exciting ASU opportunities.
You will receive an @appstate.edu email after you have accepted an offer of admissions.
Begin checking your @appstate.edu account at least weekly starting in May!
Register for Orientation.
Soon after the Office of Admissions receives your Reply to your Offer of Admission and your Enrollment Deposit, you will be prompted to complete your enrollment steps including Orientation registration through your MyMountaineer portal. Check out Orientation dates now to start your planning.
Complete the online tutorial called Early Registration Advising (available April 30th through your MyMountaineer portal).
Participate in the tutorial, and then begin building your schedule. Please follow the guidelines for ACCESS students under “special populations.” After you register for classes, your schedule may be modified by your ACCESS academic advisor based on your intended major, your interests, and the information you provide when you complete the orientation registration online.
Complete all other enrollment steps outlined for you in MyMountaineer.
